我聽了一晚的great throw,總算大聯盟官網貼出來了,真的非常神奇的接(幾乎沒浪費的徒手接跟轉身)跟傳. What a throw!!! 很巧妙的送往Valentin的手套, Valentin幾乎不費力氣的就完成出局的觸殺.

Brandon Phillips很有可能在本季季末成為Reds隊史上第三位30-30 (30 Homeruns, 30 Stolen Bases). 另外兩位則是兩位赫赫有名的選手, Eric Davis and Barry Larkin.
目前他是26-25. 還缺4 HRs and 5 SBs

The same game, Dunn一個跑壘失誤,漏採了三壘壘包, cost Reds 2 runs and Edwin Encarnacion at least 1 RBI hit. and a 2:1 lead. But in the end, Reds won, it doesn't matter anymore. A win is a win. I will take it.

Aaron Harang is the "ACE"

昨天晚上Reds VS Pirates在PNC Park的比賽,
Harang有一個sensational night!
在Griffey打出592號全壘打,Reds以8:0勝Pirates的比賽,

Harang投出了一場94球完封勝,2安打,1四壞,8三振. 94球中有70球好球,
Reds在他最近出賽的15場中,拿下14勝,他出賽的28場中,Reds拿下22勝.而他本身戰績14勝3敗.

Harang真的是聯盟中under appreciate by the national media. 這樣的王牌等級的選手,幾乎佔不上任何ESPN, FOX, CBS, and MLB等版面.若是今年季末他還是在勝投領先集團中的話,若他還拿不到幾張賽揚票的話,那這些棒球作家去吃屎吧!

Harang的統計
14勝, 並列國聯第二,落後領先的Brandon Webb及Jake Peavy 1勝
190局,僅次於 Brandon Webb的197局.
174次三振,次於 Jake Peavy的197次.

他在領先集團中一點都不弱,不過賽揚得主幾乎是Jake Peavy的囊中物了(ERA 2.18).
去年Harang同樣優異的成績,勝投跟三振領先.傳言說Harang一張賽揚票都沒有,實在有點離譜.現在Harang連兩年有傑出Ace級表現,若沒票,真的就太扯了.

昨天的doubleheader兩場皆輸, Cubs贏, 場差拉到8場. 剩下30場比賽! 我想理智的球迷心理應該有底了. It's over. The gap is huge for 30 games. Reds的陣容無法拉近這個鴻溝了,講的明確一些,是30場的時間太少了! a little bit too late.

當然數學上是存活的,但是除非有奇蹟出現, It's over. I am going to call it!

不過這一個星期真的讓人心情大振.

I was actually looking at the schedule for another Homer Outing. I sat and figured out the schedule of all the NL Central teams. But like a mirage in the dessert......I crawled thru the sand hoping to find a playoff chase and found Jason Ellison waiting for me.

這段時間的運動脫口秀爆滿的Reds call ins. 讓我深深的認為只要Reds能夠有個好的戰績,這個town永遠都是個baseball town, 可以隨時填滿GABP這個42,000容量的球場.球迷不去,只是被延續幾年的失望導致的.還記得2004年的時候,再七月以前還在contention時,連Montreal series的Sunday game都可以售完.希望明年這個盛況可以再現,讓Reds重拿回這個城市的運動主導權.

昨天Reds正式將Dave Concepcion的Lucky 13的球衣號碼退休,
Reds這一年多以來正在想辦法把這位前Big Red Machine的Shortstop 送進名人堂,

Cubs lost to D-Back! 6.5 game out of first place!

傍晚check一下Cubs and D-Backs的比賽,正好九局上半,Cubs 4, D-Backs 5! Cubs 1,2 壘有人, 無人出局,心理捏了一把冷汗,還好後來一個雙殺化解危機,最後D-Backs守住!

終於,現在與Cubs僅剩6.5場的勝差了,Reds幾乎快要回到Contention了!
