可以點選連結看全文，不過有很多本地的議題。Reds僅佔一小部份，我把關於Reds的部份引用出來。

他指出，雖然第五先發的卡位戰議題性十足。但是並不是關乎本季能否競爭的關鍵，他認為真正的關鍵在
1. Aaron Harang能否回到一個12-15勝200局以上的表現。
2. Jay Bruce的打擊率跟三振數。
3. Scott Rolen的打擊率跟能否先發140場以上。

他認為Cueto, Bailey只會表現比上季更好更成熟。Arroyo還會是Arroyo，不需要擔心。Bullpen還是會跟上季一樣好。Phillips, Votto, Hernandez有之前紀錄可以被信類。

所以剩下的就是上述關鍵三人跟一張外卡，Chapman。

Is the most overblown story of any spring who a team’s 5th starter will be? If your biggest worry is No. 5 in the rotation, you don’t have many worries. The guy won’t pitch much in April, given the off days. After that, he’s the first to be skipped when skipping is required. If your other 4 are healthy and pitch well, nobody will care about #5. Which brings me to the Essential List of the Day: The Reds top 3 concerns coming into the season:

1. Aaron Harang. Did well enough, until his last start. If Harang isn’t back to winning 12-15 and throwing 200 innings, the Reds are who they’ve been the last few years.

2. Jay Bruce. Average lineup is less so if Bruce is hitting .220 and striking out.

3. Scott Rolen. See above. Needs to play 140 games.

There’s no reason to think Cueto, Bailey will not get better. Arroyo is Arroyo: Essentially a .500 pitcher who doesnt miss starts. The bullpen is very good. Track records from Phillips, Votto, Hernandez suggest no issues there. What’s left is the above three guys and the Great Unknown, Chapman.
