今天下午兩點 The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum宣佈了棒球名人堂2008年入選的廣播員"the Ford C. Frick Award",在Seattle Mariners的廣播員Dave Niehaus獲入選名人堂.
再一次的, 幾個月前過世的Reds前球員與前廣播員 Joe Nuxhall沒有被入選,一般認為若是Joe Nuxhall今年沒有入選,以後大概也沒有機會了.相關Joe Nuxhall的報導請點選這篇底下的Joe Nuxhall的標籤.今年Reds Hall of Fame and Museum會有Joe Nuxhall特展.到時我再分享到我部落格上.
Former Reds GM, Bob Howsam, dead at 89.
Bob Howsam, Reds GM 1967-78 and then again in 1983-84.昨天晚上心衰竭病逝.看他的GM資歷,可以知道他是Reds史上,甚至可能是棒球史上最強球隊 "Big Red Machine"的打造者.
這兩位Reds史上最要的人,都是Reds Hall of Famers.
