Reds update with Big Hawaii, 05/04/09

整個Pirates series沒有作任何更新.週末加上本人跑了個馬拉松.現在一次作個總結.

1. 週五, Arroyo-Cordero, 5-0 shoutout. 接著週三, Volquez-Volquez連兩場shout out.
2. 週六, Micah Owings 好不容易在上次投出一次佳作後,又被打好玩了,第一局就爆了四分.即便如此,Reds還是奮戰到底,九局上打入兩分,滿壘,追平分還在二壘.可惜,Alex Gonzalez最後被三振,結束了這場比賽.
3. 週日, Johnny Cueto-Arthur Rhodes投出了一場另一場5-0 shoutout. Jay Bruce打出本季第六支全壘打,目前球隊領先者.
4. 週三到週日,四場中,三場shoutouts.先發投手全部投滿八局. Amazing. 去年整季,球隊僅有6場shoutouts.本季截至目前為止已經有五場了. The pitching has carried the team this season.打擊也慢慢的有起色了. It's going to be fun team to watch. 
5. 在近25年,上次四場中三場shoutouts,是在1992年由Greg Swindell (10-0 win at Phi), Chris Hammond (3-0 win at NYM) and Tim Belcher (1-0 win at NYM). The only interruption during the shutout streak was a 8-3 victory by Jose Rijo on 5/24 at Phi.
6. 今晚由Harang擔綱,他本季已有一次 complete game shoutout performance（很巧的,對手也是Pirates,五場shoutouts 三場對手是Pirates).
