The Reds on Tuesday sent relief pitcher Jared Burton off to join Triple-A Louisville and begin a rehabilitation assignment. Burton has been on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring since April 8. Pitchers are allowed a maximum of 30 days for a minor-league rehabilitation assignment.
